In a Cold Plunge session, immersing in 39 degree to 55 degree water for a period of 1 minute to 10 minutes can completely reset your body. If new to cold plunging, it is recommended to begin with 1 to 2 minutes and increase exposure in later sessions as the body adjusts to the cold. Research shows that being submerged for 10 minutes per week is ideal, which can be broken up into multiple sessions.
